Rat trap for a car

Things that you need

Then you should get four grey connectors, four large k'nex wheels, two red length rods and four tan connectors. In addition to that, you need to get drill bits, lighter, scissors and drill as well.

Mark the holes drill

You should initially proceed with marking the holes. You need to have half inch marks along the edges of the trap. These markings should be on both sides. Then you will be able to drill the holes on the marks that you made on both sides.

Insert the eye hooks

As the next step, you should insert the eye hooks. You need to make sure that you are properly screwing the eye hooks into the holes that you made. In addition to that, you need to ensure that the eye hooks are located perpendicular to the bottom part of the trap.

Make the front axle

Now you should go ahead with making the front axle. You need to get a red colored rod and place the grey colored connector at the end. You should slide a wheel on and then connect the tan connector behind the wheel. Then you will be able to properly lock the wheel to the hook. Likewise, you need to connect the other wheel as well.

Connecting the rear axle

The next step would be to go ahead and connect the rear axle. You will be able to connect the rear axle in a way, which is quite similar to how you connect the front axle as well.

Fishing line

Now you need to get hold of the fishing line that you have. You will need to make tech inches in the fishing line and then cut along with the scissors. You should then tie one of the ends into the main arm of the trap. Then you will be able to keep a distance of around 9 inches on the sides.
